Goodyear Appoints Mamatha Chamarthi as Chief Digital Officer and Will Roland as Chief Marketing Officer

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company has announced the appointment of Mamatha Chamarthi as Senior Vice President and Chief Digital Officer and Will Roland as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. Both will report directly to CEO and President Mark Stewart, starting on 1st August.

In her new role, Chamarthi will lead Goodyear's digital transformation, overseeing all digital business aspects alongside traditional CIO responsibilities. Her appointment comes after a distinguished career at Stellantis, where she served as Chief Software Business Growth Officer and Chief Information and Digital Officer. Chamarthi's expertise in creating a significant software business and overseeing global connected vehicle initiatives will be instrumental in establishing and executing Goodyear's comprehensive digital strategy, which spans products, plants, services, and processes.

Chamarthi brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles at ZF Friedrichshafen AG, Consumers Energy, and Daimler Group. Her focus at Goodyear will be on leveraging digital tools and technologies to enhance the company's operational efficiency and customer experience.

Will Roland, the newly appointed Chief Marketing Officer, joins Goodyear from Stellantis North America, where he was Senior Vice President of Media, Consumers, Analytics and Digital. Roland's background includes overseeing data and platform management, advanced analytics, data science, and applied marketing strategies as president of Solutions for Publicis Media. As CMO, Roland will be crucial in guiding Goodyear's brand and marketing strategies, aligning with the company's Goodyear Forward plan. His work will focus on using advanced analytics and market insights to drive innovation, identify growth opportunities, and increase profitability.
