In his new role as International Key Account Manager, Ezendam will manage some of Apollo Tyres' largest global accounts, including Global Automotive Investment Holdings, LKQ, and the Automotive Group. With this new position, Ezendam will coordinate closely with local Key Account Managers to maintain consistent service quality across international clients, addressing increasing demand and capitalising on growth opportunities across Apollo Tyres’ expanding product portfolio.

Ezendam, who joined Apollo Tyres in 2010, has developed a strong reputation within the company, having served in various management and sales roles over the years. Most recently, he held the position of Country Sales Manager for the Netherlands, the home market of Apollo’s Vredestein premium tyre brand, where he led sales efforts since 2022. His previous experience also includes product management roles at multinational firms such as Colgate-Palmolive and Friesland Campina, bringing a well-rounded approach to his new appointment.

Erwin Groener, who previously held the role of Channel Analytics & Market Acquisition Manager, will now take over as Country Sales Manager for the Netherlands, following Ezendam’s move. Groener will continue his work with major car dealer groups and leasing firms, leveraging his extensive experience in Apollo Tyres’ original equipment division. Since joining Apollo in 2011, Groener has held a range of roles in purchasing, project management, and account management, contributing significantly to the company’s growth.

Paul Eidhof, Head of Cluster North West at Apollo Tyres, commented on the appointments: “These leadership appointments underscore Apollo Tyres’ commitment to internal employee development and align with our strategy to grow our market share in the Netherlands and across Europe. Fabian and Erwin’s experience and leadership are sure to help us drive further improvements in customer satisfaction and long-term business success.”

Both Ezendam and Groener will report directly to Eidhof as Apollo Tyres continues to drive its European expansion strategy.
