Himadri Speciality Chemicals, along with Dalmia Refractories Bharat, acquired Birla Tyres from the B K Birla Group for Rs 300 crore. Choudhary revealed that the re-launch is scheduled to take place by 2025. He noted the significance of this move, especially given the current market dynamics: "In the passenger car segment, almost 100% is radial now. But in the commercial vehicle category, 45% is still non-radial."

In addition to its new product line, Birla Tyres is also focusing on sustainability. The company plans to invest in green technology and recycling projects through Himadri Green Technologies Innovation Limited, a subsidiary of Himadri Speciality Chemicals. This investment underscores the company's commitment to environmentally friendly practices and innovation.

Himadri Speciality Chemicals has seen a robust financial performance, with a 40% increase in net profit to Rs 123 crore in the first quarter of this fiscal year. Revenue rose by 26%, reaching Rs 1,200 crore compared to Rs 951 crore in the same period last year. Choudhary highlighted a significant achievement for the company: "A significant milestone is our achievement of becoming debt-free, boasting a positive net cash balance. This accomplishment is a testament to our unwavering commitment to disciplined capital deployment and efficient working capital utilisation."
