At INTERMAT 2024, held in Paris from April 24 to 27, ZC Rubber unveiled its latest innovations in off-the-road and industrial tyres and tracks across its Westlake, Tianli, and Yonggu brands. The event, occurring triennially, drew over a thousand exhibitors and a global audience to its latest iteration, focusing on the highly specialised construction industry.
John Ruddy, European Sales Director for Earthmover tyres at ZC Rubber, highlighted the significance of such exhibitions, stating, “These events are crucial for demonstrating to the construction sector the advanced capabilities of our products. They are designed to meet the rigorous demands of both the machinery and the environments they operate in.”
One of the standout displays at the Westlake stand was the introduction of the WESTLAKE 45/65R45 CB790 L5 tyre, tailored for large loaders like the Caterpillar 992 and Komatsu WA800. Further innovations include the CB398 tyre, featuring a multi-star construction suitable for underground mining vehicles. Additionally, Westlake’s new ADT tyre, the 33.25R29 E4 CB763, has been developed specifically for use with the Volvo A60 hauler.
Marc Debusschere, newly appointed European OE Sales Director for Off Highway Tyres and Tracks at ZHONGCE Rubber, expressed his enthusiasm for the exhibition, “INTERMAT is an invaluable platform for forging new relationships crucial to our strategic goals. It allows us to initiate and plan future discussions with machinery manufacturers, showcasing our extensive range of solutions.”
