The A.C.T. campaign is a simple acronym designed to remind motorists of the essential steps to maintain tyre safety:
By following these three checks, motorists can contribute to safer roads and help minimise tyre-related incidents across the UK.
Henry Bisson, Marketing Director at Ring, emphasised the importance of tyre maintenance: “During our partnership with TyreSafe, we have helped at multiple events checking people’s tyres, and they continue to raise our concerns, as a lot of the tyres we check have some sort of issue. Yet, this is why we need to keep beating this drum and discussing the importance of tyre safety and the potential consequences of drivers not looking after their vehicles.”
Ring offers several award-winning products designed to make tyre maintenance more convenient. The RTC4000 cordless tyre inflator, for example, is a powerful tool for inflating car and motorbike tyres. It can inflate up to four tyres by more than 10 psi on a single charge and can be recharged via USB Type C or 12V DC cable. This device has been lauded for its compact size and quick inflation capabilities, making it ideal for keeping tyres at their optimal pressure levels.
For drivers seeking a reliable tyre gauge, Ring’s RTG4 digital tyre gauge is an excellent choice. This compact gauge can easily be attached to a keyring, allowing for regular tyre pressure checks. It provides accurate readings in PSI, kPA, BAR, and kg/cm², and features an LED light to help drivers locate tyre valves in low-light conditions.
“Tyres are a vehicle’s only contact with the road and should be looked after a lot more than they are,” added Bisson. “TyreSafe understands just how important and safety critical tyres are, which is why we’re happy to partner with them for Tyre Safety Month again, as they continue to do incredible work in helping keep our roads safe. So this October, make sure you A.C.T!”
Through their partnership with TyreSafe, Ring aims to make tyre safety a priority for drivers across the UK. By encouraging motorists to take these three steps, Ring and TyreSafe are working together to make roads safer for everyone.
