RH Claydon and Triangle Tire are gearing up to make a significant impact at Hillhead 2024, the UK’s largest quarrying, construction, and recycling exhibition, taking place from 25th to 27th June at Hillhead Quarry in Buxton. The event, renowned for its live demonstrations and extensive displays, is the leading exhibition of its kind in the UK.
Triangle Tire, founded in 1976 and listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange since September 2016, is a globally recognised tyre manufacturer. It holds the distinction of being the fourth-largest producer of Off-The-Road (OTR) radial tyres worldwide. Partnering with them is RH Claydon, a company established in 1953, serving as the official distributor of Triangle OTR tyres in the United Kingdom.
Visitors to Hillhead 2024 can expect to be welcomed by RH Claydon and Triangle Tire at their expansive 144 square metre stand (V10). The exhibit will feature a selection of the most popular OTR tyre patterns, highlighting the extensive range available to the market.
Among the featured products is the 29.5R R25 TB598S E4 radial tyre, designed for articulated dump trucks commonly used in mining and quarry applications. This tyre boasts a non-directional block pattern, offering superior traction on soft, rocky surfaces, and excellent abrasion resistance. Its deep tread pattern and new wear-resistant formula enhance service life and puncture resistance, thereby boosting production efficiency.
Additionally, the 24.00R35 TB526S E4 radial tyre will be showcased. Engineered for rigid dump trucks (RDT), this tyre is known for its exceptional traction and resistance to cuts and penetration, making it ideal for the most challenging terrains.
For wheel loaders and dozers, the stand will feature the 20.5R25 and 23.5R25 TB516 L3/E3 radial tyres, which perform exceptionally well on soft surfaces. The L5 range, represented by the TL559S+ in sizes 23.5R25 and 26.5R25, will also be on display. These tyres, with their massive and extremely deep tread patterns, are designed for severe conditions such as industrial applications and recycling, offering increased load-carrying capacity and cementing Triangle’s leadership in this segment.
The exhibition will also include the 23.5R25 and 26.5R25 TL538S+, featuring an open lug L5 rock-traction design that provides a high level of grip for severe working conditions in harsh environments, including front-of-quarry applications.
