Nokian Heavy Tyres Ltd. has initiated change negotiations aimed at aligning production with current market demands. These negotiations will impact approximately 160 employees at the company's Nokia factory.

The proposed adjustments include potential layoffs and reductions in working hours for employees in the Heavy Tyres division. These measures are planned as temporary layoffs, with each affected employee potentially facing up to 90 days of reduced work time. The implementation of these adjustments is scheduled for the remainder of 2024 and the first quarter of 2025. The negotiation period will last for two weeks.
