Toyo Tires' Open Country A/T III tyre has been selected as the original equipment for the all-new Toyota Land Cruiser 250. The chosen size is 265/70 R18 116H, highlighting the tyre's compatibility with the vehicle's design and performance standards.
Launched in the Middle East, Japan, and other regions in June, the new Land Cruiser is set to make its debut in Europe later this year. Since its introduction in the 1950s, the Land Cruiser has been renowned for its reliability, durability, and off-road capabilities. The latest model aims to enhance comfort and ease of handling both on and off-road.
The Open Country A/T III tyres feature Toyo Tires' proprietary "T-MODE" design technology and a specialised tread pattern. This combination ensures robust off-road performance in challenging conditions while maintaining quiet and stable on-road handling.
In addition to the Land Cruiser, Toyota's luxury brand Lexus has also adopted the A/T III as the original equipment for its latest GX model. Marketed as 'The Premium Offroader,' the new GX launched in North America in April and in other countries, though its availability in the UK remains uncertain.
