ETRMA President Chris Delaney emphasised the significance of Linglong Tire joining the association, stating: “Welcoming Linglong Tire to ETRMA is a great step towards enhancing the collective strength of our industry in Europe. Their participation will undoubtedly contribute to ETRMA’s efforts to foster a competitive and resilient tyre industry in the EU.”
With this addition, ETRMA now represents 14 global tyre manufacturers with production facilities across Europe. This growing membership underscores the association’s commitment to bolstering Europe’s competitive edge in the global tyre and rubber market.
Founded in 1975, Linglong Tire has made significant strides in expanding its footprint globally and particularly within Europe. In September 2024, Linglong commenced mass production at its newly constructed Serbian facility, marking its first production plant in Europe. This development highlights the brand’s dedication to establishing a robust European manufacturing base, supporting its ambitions to become a prominent player in the European market.
