The Jeep brand is set to revolutionise the electric vehicle market with the unveiling of its first global battery-electric vehicle (BEV) – the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S. This new addition, launching initially in the U.S. and Canada in the second half of 2024, represents a significant milestone in Jeep's storied history, blending the brand’s renowned off-road capability with cutting-edge electric performance and design.
The Jeep Wagoneer S promises to deliver an exhilarating driving experience, boasting impressive performance credentials that are sure to capture the attention of enthusiasts and new customers alike. This BEV comes equipped with a potent 600 horsepower and more than 800 Nm of instant torque, enabling a lightning-quick acceleration from 0-60 mph in just 3.4 seconds. The vehicle’s range exceeds 300 miles on a single charge, providing both power and practicality for everyday use.
Built on the flexible, BEV-native STLA Large platform, the Wagoneer S integrates sophisticated technology to enhance both performance and driver experience. The all-electric four-wheel drive system ensures excellent traction and stability across various terrains, supported by the Jeep-exclusive Selec-Terrain traction management system with five distinct drive modes: Auto, Sport, Eco, Snow, and Sand.
Charging the Wagoneer S is designed to be straightforward and efficient. The vehicle’s 400-volt, 100-kilowatt-hour battery pack allows for a rapid charge from 20% to 80% in just 23 minutes using a DC fast charger. Each Launch Edition includes a 48-amp Level 2 home charger or equivalent public charging credits, facilitated through Stellantis’ Free2move Charge ecosystem.
The 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S combines sleek, aerodynamic design with premium luxury. The exterior features a reimagined seven-slot illuminated grille, 20-inch wheels, and a dual-pane panoramic sunroof exclusive to the Launch Edition. The design is aerodynamically optimised, achieving a coefficient of drag (CD) of 0.29 – the lowest ever for a Jeep vehicle.

Jeep’s commitment to sustainability is evident in the Wagoneer S. The interior utilises non-leather synthetic materials, a microfiber suede headliner, and carpets made from recycled materials. The design team has also reduced the use of chrome, opting for more environmentally friendly processes and materials.
Safety remains paramount with over 170 standard safety and security features, including Active Driving Assist, Intersection Collision Assist, Drowsy Driver Detection, and Traffic Sign Recognition.
