This facility, formerly operated by Doublestar, was renamed and restructured under Huasheng Rubber following its acquisition. The launch of passenger car radial tyre production positions Heda Rubber as a significant player in China’s tyre industry.

The Rise of Radial Tyres

Passenger car radial tyres, now the industry standard, offer distinct advantages over older bias-ply designs:

  • Improved fuel efficiency: Lower rolling resistance leads to better mileage.
  • Better traction and handling: Enhanced stability for modern vehicles.
  • Longer tread life: Greater durability extends tyre lifespan.
  • Enhanced ride comfort: Radial designs provide smoother driving experiences.

With these benefits, radial tyres are essential for meeting the demands of today's automotive market. By focusing on this technology, Heda Rubber aims to appeal to both vehicle manufacturers and consumers.

Modernisation of China’s Tyre Industry

Heda Rubber’s new operations highlight the ongoing transformation within China’s tyre sector. Larger groups like Huasheng Rubber are acquiring existing facilities and implementing technological upgrades to enhance production efficiency and quality.

This modernisation not only strengthens individual companies but also elevates the global competitiveness of China’s tyre manufacturing industry.

Chairman Zhang Shulin and General Manager Zhao Ruiqing expressed optimism about the future of Heda Rubber and the potential for continued growth in the sector. As Heda Rubber expands its production capabilities, the company is poised to become a key player in China’s increasingly consolidated tyre market.
