South Central Ambulance Service Boosts Fleet Efficiency with Michelin All-Season Tyres
The South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS), responsible for over seven million residents in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, and Oxfordshire, has upgraded its fleet of 500 vehicles, predominantly Mercedes-Benz Sprinters and Fiat Ducatos, to Michelin’s all-season tyres.
This move follows extensive testing at MIRA’s proving grounds in Warwickshire, which demonstrated improved handling and performance in various weather conditions. The shift from Michelin Agilis 3 summer tyres to the MICHELIN Agilis CrossClimate all-season tyres is expected to enhance both safety and operational efficiency across the service.
