Dara O Briain, one of the UK and Ireland’s most beloved stand-up comedians and television hosts, is best known for his role as the host of the long-running comedy panel show 'Mock the Week.' His television repertoire also includes popular shows like 'Blockbusters,' 'Robot Wars,' 'Three Men in a Boat,' 'Dara and Ed’s Great Big Adventure,' 'Stargazing Live,' 'Dara O Briain’s Science Club,' and the acclaimed documentary 'Dara O Briain Meets Stephen Hawking.' Recently, he has been seen fronting 'Wonders of The Moon' and 'Mysteries of the Pyramids' on Channel 5.
O Briain’s comedic journey began in Ireland, where he started as a children's presenter on RTÉ while performing stand-up gigs. His breakthrough in UK television came in 2003 as the host of BBC Two’s 'The Live Floor Show,' leading to multiple guest hosting appearances on 'Have I Got News for You.' Over the years, he has become a staple of British television, celebrated for his quick wit and engaging style.
His live performances are globally renowned, with tours spanning from Moscow to Sydney and multiple sold-out shows in Dublin’s legendary Vicar Street.
