The move to fit Vredestein Traxion tyres follows strong demand from farmers and contractors who operate DEUTZ-FAHR tractors.
Laurence Bennett, Head Off-Highway Tyres at Apollo Tyres, commented:
“We are honoured that DEUTZ-FAHR has selected our Traxion tyres for its Series 6 tractors. This decision comes in response to the increased demand from contractors and farmers operating DEUTZ-FAHR tractors, who appreciate the value of Vredestein tyres. Our Traxion technology is designed to deliver superior performance, with enhanced traction, comfort and extended tyre life – all crucial factors for demanding agricultural work. This partnership reflects the strong reputation we’ve built in the market.”
Vredestein’s Traxion tyres are engineered for high efficiency in agricultural applications. Their curved lug design enhances traction while maintaining optimal comfort for on-road use. Additional rubber in the centre of the tread improves durability and wear resistance, extending the lifespan of the tyres.
The non-parallel lugs diverge towards the shoulder, providing superior self-cleaning properties—a crucial feature for fieldwork in muddy conditions.
The announcement of Vredestein’s OE partnership with DEUTZ-FAHR was made during the 2024 EIMA trade fair in Bologna, Italy. EIMA is a key global event for agricultural machinery and equipment, making it the perfect platform for unveiling this collaboration.
With this partnership, DEUTZ-FAHR Series 6 tractors will offer a proven tyre solution that maximises field efficiency, driving comfort, and durability—meeting the high expectations of modern farmers and contractors.
