Marangoni has outlined a new strategic sustainability plan, reinforcing its environmental and social commitments for the years 2025 to 2027.

The tyre retreading specialist has voluntarily developed a focused action framework, aimed at guiding and monitoring its ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) efforts over the next three years.

The framework aligns with the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). According to Marangoni, the plan is intended to serve as both a guideline for action and a monitoring tool to regularly measure the company's progress.

The company has identified 17 specific initiatives as part of this strategy. These were defined following a materiality analysis that considered both internal input and feedback from external stakeholders. Marangoni said the result is a “balanced approach” reflecting management’s priorities and stakeholder expectations.

The process was carried out in compliance with internationally recognised standards, including AccountAbility 1000 and the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) guidelines. This, the company noted, ensures transparency and accountability in how the initiatives are identified and reported.

Marangoni’s sustainability plan is built around three main pillars:

▪ Supporting the ecological transition
▪ Integrating ESG principles into corporate governance
▪ Ensuring a safe, stimulating, and inclusive work environment

Each of the 17 initiatives is linked to these key focus areas. The company has made its full 2025-2027 framework available on request through its marketing department: https://www.marangoni.com/en/contact-us/
