Continental Tyres has announced that Tracey Mortimer will assume the role of Managing Director for the company’s UK and Ireland operations from 1 January 2025. Mortimer takes over from Tarik Görgün, who will be relocating to the United States with his family.
Bringing more than 20 years of experience within the tyre industry, Mortimer has held several senior roles at Continental Tyres. Her extensive expertise spans consumer and commercial vehicle sectors, with a particular focus on marketing and sales. Most recently, she served as Consumer Tyres Sales and Solutions Director for the UK and Ireland, making her a well-suited candidate to lead the company in its next chapter.
In her new position, Mortimer will oversee the business strategy and its execution, aiming to ensure sustainable growth and market leadership across the UK and Ireland.
