Bridgestone EMEA has announced the launch of its latest tyre innovations, the Bridgestone M-Steer 002 and Bridgestone M-Drive 002. Specifically designed for fleets operating across on-road and off-road environments, these tyres set new benchmarks in performance, durability, and sustainability. They will be available throughout Europe from January 2025.
These new tyres address the unique challenges faced by fleets in the mild On/Off segment, bridging the gap between regional transport and heavy off-road operations. Both tyres offer a 20% improvement in wear resistance compared to their predecessors, significantly extending their lifespan.
The Bridgestone M-Drive 002 features a re-engineered tread pattern and full-depth centre groove to ensure exceptional traction on surfaces ranging from asphalt and gravel to sand and mud.
Both models are designed with advanced tread resistance and a strong casing to withstand damage from chips, cuts, and chunks, ensuring reliable performance in rugged conditions.
Rolling resistance has been reduced by over 10%, translating into better fuel efficiency and reduced operational costs for fleets.
Supporting sustainable fleet operations, the retreadable design of these tyres reduces waste and contributes to lower overall costs.
The M-Steer 002 will initially be available in sizes 315/80 R22.5, 13 R22.5, and 385/65 R22.5, while the M-Drive 002 will come in 315/80 R22.5 and 13 R22.5. Additional sizes will be rolled out during 2025. These tyres are also integrated into the Bridgestone Fleet Care programme, providing fleets with customisable solutions that combine premium tyres, technologies, and fleet management tools.
