Ben, the dedicated automotive industry charity, is calling on everyone who works or has worked in the automotive sector to participate in its 2023 Health & Wellbeing survey. The survey, which takes just 10 minutes to complete, is entirely confidential. Its insights will guide Ben’s ongoing efforts to address health and wellbeing issues impacting automotive professionals and their families.

Findings from Last Year’s Survey

Last year, Ben’s survey highlighted critical issues in the automotive industry:

• 99% of automotive workers faced health and wellbeing challenges.
• Stress, affecting 66% of respondents, was the most common concern.
• Sleep difficulties and low mood were also prevalent.
• Anxiety and depression were reported by 1 in 3 automotive workers, compared to 1 in 6 in the wider UK workforce.
• High workloads were identified as the primary source of workplace stress.
