Tom Beazley has taken the wheel of six ETB Autocentres in the South West as the newly appointed Retail Area Manager, marking another milestone in his impressive automotive career.
The 32-year-old from Torquay stepped into the role after three successful years managing ETB’s Exeter depot in Marsh Barton. His experience in the fast-fit industry dates back to when he started as a technician at just 16, making him uniquely equipped to oversee centres in Plymouth, Bridport, Bude, Taunton, Exeter, and Launceston.
Reflecting on his journey, Tom said:
“I’ve been a technician, assistant manager, centre manager and just about every other job in between, so I know the challenges and opportunities that each centre has.”
He continued:
“The fast fit industry is all I’ve ever known, having come straight into the profession from school. I’m confident that I can make a real difference to each depot, both proactively and reactively and I’m really looking forward to the challenge.”
Driving Performance Across the Region
In his new role, Tom will focus on enhancing the daily operations of each centre. This includes assisting with stock management, recruitment, introducing new equipment, and identifying both online and in-store sales opportunities. He also aims to bolster ETB’s comprehensive fleet maintenance services for local businesses while maintaining excellent customer experiences.
“I love the fact that no two days are the same here and that each depot has its own bespoke needs and requirements," said Tom. "I’m here to provide an indispensable level of support to each one, whilst hoping to build on the feelgood factor that’s already in place.”
