Nokian Tyres plc has announced the appointment of Paolo Pompei as the new President and CEO, set to take the helm by January 1, 2025.
Pompei brings extensive international experience from the tyre industry, marked by a consistent track record of growth and strong financial performance in his previous roles. He possesses a profound understanding of the markets in Central Europe and North America, which are pivotal for Nokian Tyres' strategic expansion.

Pompei's appointment aligns with Nokian Tyres' strategic goals of strengthening its market presence and leadership in sustainability. The company is currently in an exciting phase of transformation, targeting robust growth in Central Europe and North America. Nokian Tyres is also setting industry benchmarks in sustainability, notably with the construction of the world's first zero CO2 emission tyre factory in Romania.
Current President and CEO Jukka Moisio will continue in his role until Pompei officially starts.
