This move is accompanied by the appointment of the company’s Managing Director, Trevor Adams, to the NTDA Executive Council, where he will advocate for the interests of the specialist tyre sector.

The decision represents a milestone for T&C Site Services, a company with over 45 years of experience in the earthmover tyre industry. Founded in 1978 by Trevor and Christine Adams, the company has expanded from a small family-run business to a major player, now managing over 32,000 tyres and handling more than 10,500 specialist jobs annually.

NTDA Welcomes T&C Site Services

NTDA CEO Stefan Hay welcomed the new member, highlighting the alignment between the NTDA’s mission and T&C Site Services’ commitment to industry advancement.

"There is a strong synergy between the NTDA’s ongoing efforts to elevate professional standards across all sectors of the UK tyre industry and the innovation demonstrated by T&C Site Services," said Hay.

He also revealed that discussions are underway to develop a new professional licence for Earthmover, Plant, and OTR tyre technicians. This initiative will be based on best practices developed by T&C Site Services in collaboration with Roadside Safety Ltd, one of the NTDA’s approved training providers.

"In addition, Trevor’s appointment to the Executive Council is part of a series of strategic appointments we will be making over the coming months to ensure better representation of specialist tyre providers at leadership level within the Association," Hay added.

Driving Innovation and Sustainability

Operating from eight locations across the UK, T&C Site Services has built its reputation on technical expertise and continuous innovation. Among its recent initiatives is a carbon balancing programme designed to offset the carbon footprint of OTR tyres. The initiative also supports armed service veterans through Nature Based Therapy.

Other technical advancements include the Infinity Grabber™, a universal wheel-handling solution, and the introduction of flexible contract options to adapt to evolving customer needs.

Commitment to Excellence

T&C Site Services’ dedication to industry excellence is reflected in its ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 accreditations. The company employs a team of IMI-qualified technicians with over 215 years of combined fitting experience, supported by 160 years of operational management expertise. Additionally, its fleet of 46 custom-built vehicles makes it one of the UK’s largest specialist tyre maintenance service providers.

"Joining the NTDA represents our commitment to driving industry standards forward," said Trevor Adams. "As a company that has always prioritised technical excellence, innovation, and safety in the specialist tyre sector, we look forward to contributing to the NTDA's mission of promoting best practices and professional development across the UK tyre trade."

With its NTDA membership, T&C Site Services is poised to play a key role in shaping the future of the UK tyre industry, particularly in the earthmover and OTR tyre sector.
