MARANGONI has announced strategic leadership changes aimed at strengthening its Direct and Indirect business divisions in Europe. These changes, effective from 1 January and 1 February 2025, mark a significant transition in the company’s management structure.

Christoph Brinkmann to Lead the Direct Business Unit

From 1 February 2025, Christoph Brinkmann has assumed overall responsibility for the Direct business unit, bringing together all retread and new tyre (TBR/OTR) operations under a unified structure in Europe. MARANGONI believes that Brinkmann’s experience and strategic vision will be instrumental in driving the development of this business sector.

Ronny Dietsch Takes Over the Indirect Division

On 1 January 2025, Ronny Dietsch took over the Indirect business division from Christian Asmuth, who transitions into a new strategic role within the MARANGONI GROUP after more than 30 years of service. Since 1 November 2024, Dietsch has also led MARANGONI’s Marketing division.

MARANGONI expressed gratitude to Christian Asmuth for his longstanding contributions, highlighting his tireless commitment, industry expertise, and strategic leadership. Under his direction, the company’s sales team achieved significant success, reinforcing MARANGONI’s market position.

Continuity and Growth in Sales Management

While stepping down from his role in the Indirect division, Christian Asmuth will remain with MARANGONI as an authorised signatory at MRSD, where he will take on key strategic responsibilities.

His successor, Ronny Dietsch, was closely mentored by Asmuth to ensure a smooth transition into his new role as Sales Director. MARANGONI expressed confidence in Dietsch’s experience, innovative ideas, and enthusiasm, seeing him as a driving force for the company’s future growth.

Looking Ahead: MARANGONI’s Vision for 2025

MARANGONI welcomed both leaders into their new positions, expressing optimism about their contributions to the company’s future. Matthias Leppert, speaking on behalf of the company, emphasised Dietsch’s strong market understanding and customer-focused approach, which make him the ideal candidate for the role.

As MARANGONI embarks on this leadership transition, the company extends its best wishes to:

  • Christian Asmuth in his new strategic role.
  • Ronny Dietsch as he steps into the Sales Director position.
  • Christoph Brinkmann as he takes on expanded responsibilities in the Direct business unit.

These changes reinforce MARANGONI’s commitment to strengthening its European operations, ensuring sustained growth and market leadership in the years ahead.
