Kerr's Tyres Group has announced the opening of a new automotive superstore in Coleraine. This addition marks the group's second superstore in Ireland, following the success of their first in Antrim, which opened in 2019. With this new location, Kerr's Tyres Group now boasts 26 points of sale across Ireland, underscoring their commitment to delivering comprehensive automotive repair and replacement products to their customers.
The Coleraine superstore signifies a significant expansion for Kerr's Tyres Group, offering a wider range of products and services, including dedicated bays for electric vehicles (EVs), 4x4 SUVs, high-performance vehicles, and motorcycles. This enhancement will not only broaden the company's product offering but also optimise their distribution network, ensuring greater value and service for their customers.
Geoff Johnston, Group Retail Manager of Kerr's Tyres Group, expressed his enthusiasm about the new opening, stating, "We are excited to announce this opening, a move that aligns with our long-term growth strategy of operating 35 points of sale by 2026. This opening not only expands our product portfolio into EV and motorcycle tyres but also reinforces our dedication to providing exceptional quality and service to our valued customers."
The new superstore promises a premium experience akin to what customers might expect from high-end vehicle dealerships. Kerr's Tyres Group has evolved into a more versatile organisation, adept at meeting the varied demands of the modern automotive market.
In the first phase of the opening, the Coleraine superstore will employ 20 staff to manage the 16 automotive bays. There is potential for an additional 10 positions to be created, depending on demand. This expansion not only provides new job opportunities but also strengthens the local economy.
