The National Tyre Distributors Association (NTDA) has revealed an exciting partnership with tyre management specialists DTM for the 11th Tyre Industry Conference. The conference, scheduled for Thursday, 9th October 2025, will take place at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Milton Keynes, with DTM as the headline sponsor.
Celebrating 20 years of industry excellence, Blackpool-based DTM is renowned for its operational expertise and innovative digital resources. Backed by a robust in-house team, DTM delivers advanced tyre management solutions alongside an award-winning commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. This ESG-driven approach supports fleet customers’ Net Zero goals and fosters a culture of carbon reduction across the industry.
Commenting on the partnership, NTDA CEO Stefan Hay said:
“We are very excited by this new partnership. In recent times, DTM has really stepped forward, becoming a genuine catalyst for change in the tyre services industry. The DTM team is demonstrating a strong commitment to ESG, whilst also caring for its people, committing to community engagement, and providing an exceptional network service. We have many synergies and are looking forward to jointly delivering a conference that will provide a genuine and inclusive overview of the many sub-sectors of the UK tyre trade, the challenges they face and, hopefully, providing some solutions on how we can improve things for our members.”
The conference will centre on the theme “State of the UK Tyre Trade,” with an agenda covering staff recruitment and retention, professional standards, delivery partnerships, compliance, and emerging legislation. Keynote presentations will include insights from DTM, a tyre manufacturer, wholesaler, retailer, OTR tyre specialist, and National Highways.
The event will also feature a trade exhibition with 24 exhibitors showcasing the latest innovations from the tyre and aftermarket sectors.
Leigh Goodland, CEO of DTM, shared his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating:
“We are delighted to be The NTDA’s partner for this year’s conference. Fleet customers are working hard to be competitive whilst navigating challenges from rising costs, a commitment to compliance and safety, and to achieving Net Zero goals. To support them, our industry must change, and at DTM, this technology-led journey has been more than 12 months in the making, with customers and partners seeing the results. We look forward to sharing some of our learnings and hearing from our industry peers at this year’s conference.”
