Stapleton's (Tyre Services) Ltd., a company with deep roots in the area, has been a cornerstone of the local economy for over 85 years. Starting from a single premises in Watford, the company has grown to become the UK’s largest tyre distributor and market leader. Today, Stapleton’s operates from 11 strategic locations across the UK, employing over 1,000 people, with its Head Office based in Letchworth.

The partnership was brought to life through the club’s dedicated marketing initiatives, with James Whishaw, Head of Marketing at Stapleton’s, playing a key role in formalising the agreement. This sponsorship is expected to enhance the visibility of both Hitchin Town F.C. and Stapleton’s within the local community, potentially laying the groundwork for a long-term relationship between the football club and one of North Hertfordshire’s leading businesses.

Earlier this month, Hitchin Town F.C. also announced sponsorship deals with Screenbond and B & D Civil Engineers, whose logos now feature on the club’s new home and away shirts. With Stapleton’s logo completing the set by appearing on the shorts, the club's new kit is now fully backed by prominent local businesses.

As the season progresses, Hitchin Town F.C. is hopeful that this partnership with Stapleton’s (Tyre Services) Ltd. will blossom into a long and productive association, further solidifying the club’s role in the community and providing valuable exposure for its sponsors.
