Heuver Tyres, the official distributor of Aeolus industrial tyres across key European markets, has expanded its Aeolus MPT (Multi-Purpose Tyre) range with new models designed for mobile excavators and compact construction equipment. The additions aim to meet rising demand for durable, high-traction tyres that can handle the performance needs of modern excavation and earthmoving machinery.
The AX-1 EXCAVATOR tyre, introduced in 2022, features a reinforced sidewall and is designed for dual mounting without spacers. It offers excellent traction and stability, especially in harsh construction environments. It’s available in 315/70R22.5.
Launching in early 2025, the AX-2 EXCAVATOR will match the AX-1 in size and mounting format but brings an updated tread pattern for even greater impact resistance and grip.
Arriving in Q4 2024, the AEX-5 EXCAVATOR introduces a cross-ply option to the Aeolus range. Targeted at 290/90-20 fitments, it offers improved machine stability and a dual-mount design, positioning it as an alternative to similar tyres from other brands.
Aeolus also debuts the AMP213, available in 405/70R18 and 405/70R20, designed for small wheel loaders. The tyre features an open block tread pattern to enhance self-cleaning and traction performance, with more sizes planned in future rollouts.
Through Heuver Tyres, these Aeolus products serve construction professionals in the BeNeLux, Germany, France, and other European regions. The distributor’s commitment to a dedicated MPT segment enables easy access to specialised tyre solutions for mobile diggers and compact earthmoving machines.
The addition of cross-ply and dual-mount radial tyres to Aeolus’ MPT range reflects broader shifts in construction tyre design. As compact excavators become more versatile and are used in increasingly demanding environments, tyre offerings must deliver both stability and adaptability. Heuver’s expanded Aeolus range also highlights the growing importance of tailored fitments for niche machinery types, a trend seen across the commercial off-road and construction sectors.
