Goodyear Farm Tires has unveiled ambitious plans to broaden its product range throughout 2025, aiming to meet the ever-evolving demands of the agricultural industry. Central to this expansion is the company’s exclusive Low Sidewall Technology (LSW), now supported by a dedicated European Development Centre in France.
The development plan includes introducing additional LSW tyre sizes and enhancing the range with newly developed radial tyres, ensuring farmers have access to cutting-edge solutions tailored to their specific needs.
Low Sidewall Technology Driving Growth
LSW tyres are designed to minimise soil compaction and improve vehicle stability, two critical factors for modern farming operations. The most popular LSW tyre combinations, such as the 1100/45R46 and 1000/45R32, are compatible with leading tractor brands, including John Deere, Case, and New Holland models.
Lindsay Hart, European Tyre Sales Director at Goodyear Farm Tires, remarked:
“Having the LSW facility as part of our European offering will be crucial for us delivering on our commitments. The ability to reduce lead times for farmers to access these products is a key advantage.”
Hart also emphasised the significant popularity of LSW tyres in Europe, stating their benefits of enhanced productivity and reduced equipment wear have resonated strongly with farmers.
Expanded Manufacturing and Radial Tyres
The company’s increased manufacturing capabilities in Turkey, introduced in 2022, have set the stage for the expansion of radial tyre options. The new sizes feature the highly sought-after Optitrac tread and cover popular series such as 85, 70, 65, and XL, alongside relevant industrial sizes. This comprehensive range ensures Goodyear Farm Tires can meet the diverse needs of agricultural customers across Europe.
Focused on Innovation and Sustainability
Goodyear Farm Tires remains committed to innovation and sustainability. With advanced technology, an expanding range of sizes, and improved customer support, the company is determined to continue its growth across Europe, even in challenging market conditions. New markets, including Poland, have been instrumental in its success, and the company plans to build on this momentum in 2025.
Hart concluded:
“We remain firmly focused on providing innovative, reliable, and accessible products which farmers across Europe can rely on to keep their operations running smoothly, sustainably, and successfully.”
