ETB Wholesale driving forward after in-depth investment project

ETB Wholesale is putting the finishing touches to a comprehensive investment project to position itself as one of the biggest regional players in the sector, featuring new tyre partnerships, promotions and a significant investment to boost its online presence.

With a huge selection of tyres to its name, ETB Wholesale is already a compelling operator in the Midlands, Wales, the South West and Cornwall, stocking a multitude of tyre brands including Bridgestone, CEAT, Davanti and Landsail to cater for a wide range of requirements for independent garages.

But it is inflating its presence further, with a sales agreement with leading India tyre manufacturer CEAT to complement its existing range of products, along with sales promotions and an overhaul of its website to make purchasing easier than ever.

Sales Director Paul Carter confirmed that ETB Wholesale was enjoying a buoyant start to 2024, thanks to a multi-layered investment programme.

He said: “Sales have been extremely positive during quarter one and we have generated a great deal of momentum which we’re excited about. We’ve developed a brand policy that has incorporated an exclusive new range of tyres and we’re synonymous with quality products and a quality service.”

ETB Wholesale’s CEAT agreement allows for a four-tiered tyre proposition for customers, with the super-budget, economy , mid-range and premium ranges all catered for. In addition, sell-out promotions are being introduced for the first time which are already proving popular, while the business’s online presence is being boosted as it aims to become the number one choice for tyre retailers and independent depots across England.

To further underline a new chapter opening, Craig Hutchinson has also been appointed as new Business Development Manager. Craig boasts a wealth of experience in virtually every aspect of tyre retail and is pledging to make the operation even more successful.

ETB Wholesale currently operates from regional tyre distribution centres in Bridgend, Chepstow, Exeter, Plymouth, St. Austell and Worcester, with a ‘rapid response’ on-demand service in selected areas.

Paul added: “Availability is always a critical issue across the industry but we’re in a strong position in this regard too, and the positive feedback we’re receiving is proof that we’re continuing to get things right for our customers

“We’ve achieved a great deal in a short space of time and thanks to the assets we’re bringing into the business, we’re extremely excited about our potential to become an even more compelling player in the wholesale sector.”
