Continental's UltraContact NXT tyre has won the German Innovation Award from the German Design Council in the "Excellence in Business to Consumer: Transportation" category.

The tyre, made with up to 65% renewable, recycled, and ISCC PLUS mass balance certified materials, is Continental's most sustainable product to date.

Maria Hanczuch, Head of Program Management Private Mobility Tires at Continental, expressed pride in this recognition and emphasised the company's commitment to sustainable innovation. Continental aims to incorporate over 40% renewable and recycled materials in its tyres by 2030.
