CEAT Launches New High-Performance Tractor Tyre for Maha Cultivation Season

In a boost to the agricultural sector, CEAT Kelani Holdings has introduced a new high-performance tractor tyre designed specifically for the demands of the Maha cultivation season. Known as the 13.6 - 28 PUDDLE XL TT 12PR, this cross-ply tyre promises enhanced functionality and durability for farming operations.

The tyre is compatible with popular tractor brands like Sonalika, TAFE, John Deere, and Mahindra, ensuring versatility across various agricultural needs. Its advanced features are aimed at improving tractor performance during puddling operations, a critical task during cultivation.

Key Features and Benefits

The PUDDLE XL TT tyre includes:

  • Higher Non-Skid Depth: Improved grip during muddy or wet conditions.
  • Wide and Angular Lugs: Exceptional traction in challenging terrains.
  • Lug Overlap and Tie Bar: Enhanced stability during operation.
  • Deep and Open Shoulders: Effective self-cleaning for uninterrupted performance.

This new product is the sixth tractor tyre variant developed by CEAT Kelani Holdings in Sri Lanka. The company, which manufactures half of the country’s pneumatic tyre requirements, has made significant contributions to Sri Lanka’s economy by reducing reliance on imported tyres and conserving foreign exchange.
