Road Transport Expo 2025 returns in June with over 300 exhibitors and a packed programme for HGV and fleet professionals.

Road Transport Expo 2025: Connecting the commercial vehicle industry

Road Transport Expo (RTX) returns to NAEC Stoneleigh this summer from 24–26 June, once again positioning itself as a leading meeting point for those in the commercial vehicle and HGV sectors.

Now in its fourth year, RTX continues to grow in scale and significance, with more than 300 exhibitors confirmed and daily additions expected. From fleet managers and tyre buyers to logistics leaders and technology suppliers, the event attracts visitors from across the road transport spectrum.

According to Vic Bunby, divisional director at Road Transport Media, which runs the show: “RTX has grown significantly since its launch in 2022 and has quickly become a must-attend event for everybody that works in the road transport sector.”

Held in a mix of indoor and expansive outdoor exhibition areas, the expo is designed around the needs of operators, with a clear focus on vehicles, equipment, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Networking opportunities with industry leaders

Attending RTX offers more than just a chance to explore the latest trucks and technologies. The show is widely regarded for its networking potential, drawing professionals from across retail, logistics, construction, waste and supply chain services.

Notable attendees already confirmed for 2025 include names such as Arla Foods, Biffa, DPD, GXO, Tesco, Royal Mail, and John Lewis Partnership – representing a wide cross-section of fleet-heavy industries.

For visitors, this provides a valuable opportunity to connect with peers, share insights, and explore new business opportunities in a face-to-face setting.

Conferences and conversations

In addition to its exhibition programme, RTX will once again host a free-to-attend three-day conference series. Topics will include decarbonisation, fleet compliance, fuels of the future, and transport law.

Speakers will include experts from the DVSA, Innovate UK, the Office of the Traffic Commissioner, and leading trade associations – offering real insight into both the regulatory and practical challenges facing today’s operators.

Visitors can attend the sessions that matter most to them without prior booking, ensuring flexibility around their event schedule.

A hands-on experience

RTX is not just about displays and discussions. The Ride & Drive area returns in 2025, offering qualified drivers a chance to get behind the wheel of the latest trucks powered by diesel, biogas, and electric options.

Those without licences can still experience the vehicles from the passenger seat and get a feel for new cab designs, safety features, and alternative fuel systems.

A relaxed environment for serious conversations

The venue’s layout, complete with food courts and shaded seating areas, encourages relaxed and informal discussions. Popular meeting points like the Inn on the Green are back again, offering a social space for peer-to-peer connection outside the conference halls.

With tyre suppliers, fleet service providers, legal consultants, and training specialists all set to exhibit, the show presents a comprehensive view of the road transport sector in one place.

For those in the tyre trade, from manufacturers to service chains, RTX offers a rare opportunity to understand the evolving needs of fleets first-hand.
