In a significant achievement for the agricultural tyre market, Yokohama-ATG’s Alliance brand has announced that global sales of its Agri Star II tyre have surpassed one million units. The milestone comes just five years after the tyre’s launch in 2020 and highlights its fast-growing popularity among farmers and agricultural professionals around the world.
Developed with a strong focus on real-world farming challenges, the Agri Star II has been recognised for its durability, traction, and overall performance—qualities that have helped secure its reputation in the competitive agri-tyre sector.

At the heart of the Agri Star II’s appeal is its patented Stratified Layer Technology (SLT)—a dual-angle lug design that maintains high traction even after 40% of tread wear. As the top tread layer wears down, the lower layer takes over, ensuring consistent grip throughout the tyre’s life.
