Ring Team Embarks on Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge for Charity

In a commendable effort to support Cancer Research's initiative, Business Beats Cancer, the team at Ring has committed to the daunting Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge scheduled for 14 September. This charity holds significant importance for many members of the Ring team, prompting this collective endeavor.

The challenge will witness over 15 Ring team members ascend the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres), Whernside (736 metres), and Ingleborough (723 metres). The participants aim to conquer all three peaks within a span of 12 hours. Cumulatively, this means tackling 40km of walking terrain and a staggering ascent of 5,200ft.

The team has set an ambitious fundraising goal of at least £5,200, urging the community to contribute generously to this noble cause.

Henry Bisson, Marketing Director for Ring, shared his enthusiasm for the challenge, stating, "I’ve decided to join in on this Three Peaks challenge because it’s raising money for a fantastic cause and it’s also a great opportunity to challenge myself and the team as a whole. The Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge is just that – a challenge, and the staff at Ring were eager to take it on. It’s going to be a long and difficult day, but we’ll definitely be encouraging each other to get through it."

He further added, "The Business Beats Cancer is a brilliant initiative that we as a company are happy to support, so we’re trying to raise as much money as we can, so any amount donated will be incredible.”

The Ring team's dedication to this cause is evident, and their collective effort is sure to inspire many others to contribute and support the fight against cancer.
