Apollo Tyres has strategically partnered with GEFCO, a leading logistics provider, to revolutionize tyre distribution and improve customer delivery services in France. This collaboration signifies a significant step towards streamlining the supply chain and ensuring timely and efficient delivery of tyres to customers in the French market.

Since the inception of this partnership in May, Apollo Tyres has seamlessly integrated GEFCO into its supply chain, resulting in a remarkable reduction of average lead times to under four days. This enhancement has significantly improved the overall ordering and delivery experience for customers, setting a new benchmark in customer satisfaction.

GEFCO specializes in fulfilling orders ranging from six to 40 tyres, sourcing products from Apollo Tyres' state-of-the-art warehousing facilities in Enschede, the Netherlands. Meanwhile, larger orders continue to be managed by an existing, reliable partner that typically collects from the Apollo Tyres factory in Hungary.

In an effort to further optimize its supply chain efficiency, Apollo Tyres has implemented a cutting-edge Transport ORDER Management system. This innovative system provides customers with real-time track-and-trace information, empowering them to monitor the status of their deliveries accurately. Additionally, a dedicated customer care team is available through the Apollo Tyres delivery portal to assist with any queries and provide timely updates.

John Nikhil Joy, Cluster Director Europe – Truck & Bus Tyres at Apollo Tyres, commented on the partnership, saying: "We’re driving excellence across our business and firmly believe that this collaboration with GEFCO will ensure we are better equipped to meet the growing demand for our TBR tyres across France, maximizing customer satisfaction and loyalty."

Furthermore, Apollo Tyres is set to showcase its latest innovative products at Solutrans, the premier heavy and light commercial vehicle show in France, taking place in Lyon from November 21 to 25. The company will feature its new EnduRace RA 2 and EnduMile LHT tyres, along with the popular EnduRace RT 2 truck trailer tyre range, at booth 119 in Hall 3C.

The EnduRace RA 2 truck tyre features a new tread design and premium materials, delivering unparalleled levels of grip and handling, low rolling resistance, and enhanced durability. Feedback from medium- and long-distance hauliers has resulted in a 5% increase in mileage and a 10% improvement in both rolling resistance and traction. Moreover, the tyre is certified for use in severe weather conditions with the 'three-peak mountain snowflake' mark.

The all-new EnduMile LHT is Apollo Tyres' most durable and fuel-efficient truck-sector tyre to date. Outperforming its competitors in the LHT segment, the EnduMile LHT has earned an 'A' rating for rolling resistance, marking a milestone for Apollo Tyres in the competitive European market.

The EnduRace RT2, a trailer tyre, will also be on display, showcasing its superior all-weather performance, rolling resistance, and enhanced mileage and durability. Despite its premium attributes, the tyre remains a cost-effective solution in an intensely competitive market.
