The intense competition culminated in a gripping finale held at the Burton Pirelli Performance Centre on Wednesday, 13th December. Joining Busby in the final round were Sam Coulson from Protyre Chippenham and Billy Metson from Jet Wheel & Tyre Benfleet.
The final challenge was a comprehensive test of skills, involving a series of tasks designed to assess the finalists' proficiency in various aspects of tyre technology. These tasks included an examination of a car for tyre fitting issues, diagnosis of tyre problems based on common issues encountered at depots, identification of tyres according to their specific uses and technologies, and detailed knowledge of different tyre components.
