Kumho Tyre has once again proven its commitment to innovation, securing the prestigious iF Design Award 2025 for two of its pioneering tyre concepts: the Volume and the Origami. Recognised in the Professional Concept category, these designs showcase Kumho’s forward-thinking approach to next-generation mobility and terrain adaptability.
The iF Design Award, established in 1954 by International Forum Design in Germany, is among the world’s most esteemed accolades, celebrating exceptional design across multiple industries. This year, over 11,000 entries from 72 countries competed, with winners chosen by a panel of 132 international experts. The judging criteria included distinctiveness, functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability.

These futuristic concepts were developed through Kumho’s Technology Outsourcing Program, a collaborative R&D initiative. Kumho partnered with BKID, a renowned industrial design studio, to bring these forward-thinking ideas to life.
