The Austrian tyre retreading specialist KRAIBURG Austria has expanded its off-road tread portfolio with the launch of the K612. A lightweight alternative to the popular K602, the K612 is specifically engineered for demanding environments such as quarries and construction sites.
Designed with a tread depth of 23 mm, the K612 is built to handle tough conditions while maintaining a focus on durability and performance. It features the same advanced tread base technology found in the K602, which utilises a robust construction and innovative rubber compound to minimise damage in the tread groove. This innovative design ensures both safety and long-lasting performance, even under extreme stress.
“Introduced at the beginning of the year, the new K602 has successfully replaced the previous K64 in many areas. Our retreading partners and users are very satisfied with its performance,” said Christoph Priewasser, Head of Product Management at KRAIBURG Austria. “So, we have now decided to launch a suitable successor to the K62 in the form of the modern K612.”
The K612 offers maximum grip for exceptional traction across challenging terrains, making it suitable for year-round applications. With snowflake labelling and 3PMSF certification, it also meets stringent winter performance requirements, making it a versatile choice for both summer and winter use.
Available now in a width of 250 mm, the K612 will soon expand its range with a 260 mm width version scheduled for release in the spring.
