A Pink Legacy

Since 2009, HiQ has been a proud supporter of Breast Cancer Now, the UK’s leading breast cancer research and support charity. This partnership has funded vital research and life-changing support initiatives for those affected by breast cancer.

Highlights from this year’s campaign included £3,000 raised from the sale of custom jackets adorned with the breast cancer ribbon and £4,000 collected during the National Conference in April. The campaign’s efforts were spearheaded by HiQ’s newest addition: the pink-branded ‘HiQ Hannah’ mobile service van. This striking van, named after team member Hannah Boyd, not only symbolised HiQ’s commitment but also served as a rallying point for awareness.

Hannah, who will run the 2025 London Marathon to further support Breast Cancer Now, expressed her pride in the campaign:

“Every donation has been vital in helping us exceed our target—and we are completely thrilled to have done so. Breast Cancer Now is a charity that’s close to our hearts at HiQ, and I’m honoured to be running the London Marathon in 2025 to raise as much awareness as possible for everyone affected by this disease.”

Unwavering Dedication

HiQ’s branches nationwide embraced the campaign through pink-themed events, fundraising initiatives, and their annual ‘Wear it Pink’ day. Staff donned pink attire and hosted cake sales, collection drives, and awareness campaigns that united communities for the cause.

HiQ’s charitable initiatives also gained industry recognition, with its ‘Project Pink’ campaign shortlisted for the NTDA Industry Marketing Campaign of the Year Award.

Breast Cancer Now’s Gratitude

Anna Hadjivassiliou, Community Fundraiser at Breast Cancer Now, acknowledged HiQ’s unwavering efforts:

“HiQ’s commitment and passion for fundraising is apparent as they’ve now passed their incredible £150,000 fundraising target. The vital funds raised will help us drive forward our world-class research and provide life-changing support. We are thrilled to have Hannah Boyd represent HiQ in the London Marathon 2025.”

Through consistent support and innovative campaigns like ‘Project Pink,’ HiQ Tyres & Autocare continues to make a tangible difference in the fight against breast cancer.
