An explosion at a Continental facility in Hannover, Germany, occurred on Thursday morning, 6th March 2025, causing two minor injuries and prompting a significant emergency response. The blast happened around 10:00 a.m. local time when a heating boiler exploded on the sixth floor of the building.

The explosion led to part of the roof catching fire and shattered windows, with glass shards scattered onto the street below. Five additional individuals underwent medical assessments, though their injuries were not severe.

Firefighters quickly responded, closing off the affected street and initially preparing for a 'mass casualty incident.' Nearby residents reported hearing a loud bang, adding to the alarm.
