Kieran Smith, now overseeing Scotland and the North of England, brings a wealth of experience from his tenure at Motor Parts Direct, where he excelled as a branch manager. Smith's ambition is to acquaint Schaeffler's northern clientele with the cutting-edge solutions the company provides, ensuring they remain well-informed about the evolving automotive landscape. He articulated his enthusiasm, stating, “I’m eager to share the latest innovations offered by Schaeffler with its clients in the north, whilst keeping them informed about advances in the products and services we offer.”

In parallel, the South of England will benefit from the expertise of Terri-Louise Ballard, whose background spans from an apprenticeship at GSF Car Parts to significant roles within the franchised dealer sector. Ballard's decision to join Schaeffler was driven by the company's reputation for delivering genuine Original Equipment (OE) quality products and its commitment to excellence—a principle she ardently shares. She conveyed her excitement about her new role, saying, “My decision to join Schaeffler was influenced by the company’s well-established reputation for delivering genuine OE quality products and services to independent workshops through its customer base. I am also excited to be joining a team that shares my values, such as a commitment to excellence.”

Matthew Selby, Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket (UK) Ltd's Sales & Marketing Director, highlighted the strategic importance of these appointments. Emphasising the necessity of seasoned professionals who possess a deep understanding of the automotive aftermarket sector, Selby remarked, “I’m delighted to welcome both Kieran and Terri to the team, I’m sure they will both prove to be valuable assets within our already strong UK sales team.”

These appointments signify Schaeffler's commitment to reinforcing its market position and enhancing its service quality across the UK.

The company encourages professionals in the automotive aftermarket to engage with its latest developments through the REPXPERT app or its website, www.repxpert.co.uk, underscoring its dedication to innovation and excellence in customer service.

The strategic expansion of Schaeffler's sales team is poised to have a substantial impact on the industry, promising improved access to high-quality automotive products and services for independent workshops and dealerships alike.
