Prometeon Tyre Group, established in 2017 following its spin-off from the Pirelli Tyre Group, has quickly become a leading multi-brand manufacturer. The company specialises in producing tyres for trucks, buses, agricultural, and Off The Road (OTR) vehicles, distributing them globally from its headquarters in Italy.

Roberto Righi, General Manager of Prometeon Tyre Group, shared his enthusiasm about joining ETRMA, "We are pleased to join ETRMA, and we look forward to working with the other members and the Secretariat to pursue a supportive legislative and regulatory environment for the industry." This move is seen as a strategic step for Prometeon to contribute to and benefit from ETRMA's efforts in shaping a favourable industry landscape.

Adam McCarthy, ETRMA Secretary General, also welcomed Prometeon's addition to the Association. He highlighted the potential for increased collaboration and efficiency, "With Prometeon, our critical mass is growing, and together we can create strong synergies to work even more efficiently to address the policy challenges ahead of us." This partnership is expected to strengthen ETRMA's position in navigating the complex regulatory and policy challenges facing the tyre industry.

With Prometeon becoming a full Corporate Member, ETRMA now represents 13 global tyre manufacturers that produce tyres in Europe. This expansion is a testament to the Association's growing influence and its crucial role in advocating for the interests of the tyre and rubber manufacturing sector.

As the industry continues to evolve, the partnership between Prometeon and ETRMA symbolises a forward-looking approach to addressing the challenges and seizing the opportunities that lie ahead. This collaboration is set to pave the way for advancements in tyre manufacturing and contribute to the sustainable development of the sector.

For the tyre industry and its stakeholders, the union of Prometeon and ETRMA is a promising development, promising to bring about innovative solutions and stronger advocacy for the sector's growth and sustainability.
