Trelleborg Sealing Solutions, has announced the appointment of Jürgen Bosch as the new President of the business area and member of Group Management, effective from April 1, 2024. Bosch will succeed Peter Hahn, who will transition to a senior advisory role within the Group.
Aimed at steering the company through its next phase of growth, Bosch brings a wealth of experience from his current roles as the head of the Global Aerospace business and Industrial Europe within Trelleborg Sealing Solutions. Having served in various senior positions since 2010, Bosch is well-positioned to lead the business area forward.
Peter Hahn, the outgoing President, leaves a lasting legacy after 23 years with Trelleborg, including seven years at the helm of Trelleborg Sealing Solutions. Hahn will continue to contribute to the Group's success in his new role, focusing on development projects.
Under Bosch's leadership, Trelleborg Sealing Solutions is expected to continue its growth journey across key industries such as aerospace, semiconductors, food processing, robotics, and automation. A significant part of his role will involve realizing the full potential of synergies from recent acquisitions, ensuring the company's competitive edge in the market.
Peter Nilsson, President and CEO of Trelleborg, expressed confidence in Bosch's leadership abilities and his track record of delivering strong results. Nilsson also extended gratitude towards Peter Hahn for his dedicated service and pivotal role in the business area's positive trajectory.
The appointment coincides with Trelleborg's decision to establish a new business area, Trelleborg Medical Solutions, which will incorporate the healthcare & medical operations from Trelleborg Sealing Solutions, including the recent acquisition of Baron Group. This restructure reflects Trelleborg's commitment to innovation and its strategic focus on high-growth segments.
Trelleborg will implement the new organisational structure from April 1, 2024, with restated financial figures for both Trelleborg Medical Solutions and Trelleborg Sealing Solutions to be reported in March. The Trelleborg Industrial Solutions business area will remain unaffected by these changes.
