Goodyear Farm Tires is set to unveil an innovative new product at the prestigious Agritechnica event in Hanover, Germany. The much-anticipated LW Waffle Wheel, which boasts adjustability to eight different track positions, is expected to revolutionise the way farmers approach crop cultivation.
The unveiling of the LW Waffle Wheel is not the only highlight for Goodyear at the event. The tire giant will also showcase its exclusive Low Sidewall (LSW) range, which is touted to offer farmers enhanced productivity by mitigating common issues such as road lope and power hop. This range is particularly notable for its larger rim diameter and smaller sidewall compared to standard tires, promising improved flotation, reduced soil compaction, and the ability to increase load capacity by up to 40% without impacting tire pressure.
Lindsay Hart, the Sales Director for Goodyear Farm Tires Europe, expressed palpable excitement about the company's participation in the event. "“Agritechnica is always a real highlight in our calendar and one that generates a lot of excitement amongst our teams across the world. Hart said. “Missing out on the event in 2021 due to the pandemic was incredibly disappointing but it’s great to be looking forward to a return to Hanover."
The company is not just focusing on product launches but also on expanding its reach. With new distributor networks set to open in Poland and Hungary, and increased manufacturing capacity at their Turkey plant, Goodyear Farm Tires is poised to enhance its stock availability and reduce lead times significantly in 2024.
The stand, located at CO4 in Hall 19/20, will also feature other innovative products like the R-14 Agri-Industrial tyre, a versatile solution for multi-application tractors, delivering exceptional performance on various surfaces from concrete to soft soil.
The popular Optitrac tyre, known for its premium performance both on the road and in the field, will also be available for visitors to examine closely.
Goodyear Farm Tires is ensuring that expertise is readily available on the ground; Scott Sloan, the Global Agricultural Product Manager, along with other experts, will be present to engage with visitors and address their queries.
