Apollo Tyres is extending its EnduRace RD2 range for trucks and buses with the introduction of a new tyre size, 295/80, complementing the existing 315/70 and 315/80 variants. This expansion, available across Europe from this month, enhances Apollo Tyres' Regional Drive tyre portfolio, catering to the needs of modern commercial vehicles.
Designed for 22.5-inch wheels, which are standard across most contemporary commercial trucks and buses, the EnduRace RD2 is known for its all-weather capability, offering optimal rolling resistance, increased mileage, and durability. The manufacturing process within Europe ensures the tyre meets high standards of quality and performance, offering a viable option for operators engaged in medium- and long-distance haulage.
A notable feature of the EnduRace RD2 is its unique tread pattern, incorporating Apollo Tyres’ ‘Invisible Groove Technology’ and ‘Multi-Edge’ shoulder blocks, designed to deliver enhanced performance on wet and slippery surfaces. Additionally, a wider contact area ensures even pressure distribution across the tread, improving durability and reducing rolling resistance. The tyre’s reinforced casing exceeds European regulatory standards for durability, offering 1.7 times the industry standard in durability and exceptional tear resistance.
