Goodyear launches Value Simulator to support fleet cost and CO₂ reduction

Goodyear has introduced an online tool aimed at helping fleet operators visualise potential cost savings and environmental benefits from upgrading their tyre and mobility solutions. The Goodyear Value Simulator is now available on the company’s truck tyres website and allows users to tailor simulations based on their own fleet profiles.

The simulator is part of Goodyear Total Mobility — the company’s end-to-end offering for commercial fleets. In just a few clicks, fleet managers can access insights into how adopting premium tyres and smart mobility services might translate into lower running costs and reduced emissions.

According to Goodyear, the tool factors in:

• Transport type and route profile
• Fleet size and breakdown frequency
• Average fuel consumption and cost
• Vehicle mileage and maintenance patterns

Custom insights, instant results

Once data is entered, the simulator generates an instant estimate of:

• Yearly breakdown-related cost savings
• Maintenance and fuel cost reductions
• Theoretical reduction in CO₂ emissions

Goodyear explains that the CO₂ savings are based on theoretical fuel consumption, using EU tyre label ratings as a benchmark. Actual savings will depend on variables such as vehicle condition, driver behaviour, and road conditions.
