Premium Tyres and Automotive Services

Bridgestone will supply advanced tyres for over 1,000 Toyota vehicles, including the new Bridgestone Turanza 6 and Alenza 001 tyres, which feature ENLITEN technology. Additionally, high-performance motorcycle tyres will be provided for 20 motorcycles used in road events, including a prototype Kawasaki hydrogen motorcycle. Bridgestone-owned Speedy and First Stop centres will offer tyre and maintenance services for the nearly 3,000 cars at the event, ensuring seamless operations throughout the Games.

Road Safety Education

To enhance road safety, Bridgestone has developed an e-learning module for the 4,000 volunteer drivers of the Paris 2024 fleet. This training highlights tyre safety and maintenance, ensuring drivers are well-prepared.

Sustainable Transportation Initiatives

Supporting Toyota's 100%-electrified vehicle fleet, Bridgestone will provide tyres for 500 hydrogen-powered Toyota Mirai FCEVs and 250 zero-emission Accessible People Movers (APMs). The APMs, designed for people with physical disabilities, will be fitted with Bridgestone Ecopia EP150 tyres. Bridgestone will also supply over 600 bicycles in partnership with Decathlon, promoting non-motorised transport at the event. Post-Games, 500 bicycles will be donated to local community organisations in Paris.

High-Performance Sports Equipment

Bridgestone will provide 3,500 high-performance golf balls for the Paris 2024 golf events and various adaptive sports equipment for Paralympic athletes. The company’s innovations include the use of tyre rubber for gloves, wheelchair hand rims, and prosthetic running blades, supporting athletes' performance.

Laurent Dartoux, President of Bridgestone Europe, Middle East, and Africa, stated, "Our support for Paris 2024 aligns with our mission to serve society with superior quality and create a sustainable future. We are proud to contribute to the Games with our advanced technologies and services."
